This book is a book that you won’t forget if you read it!  It’s about the new kid in town, Tommy Frazer. This 12 year old pre-teen is trying to start a new life because his father got married and they moved to the new town so quick, Tommy didn’t even get to say good-bye to his friends!! I wonder how he felt? Anyways, his new school,(Bell Valley High Middle School) is so big there is a possible chance to get lost! He also feels lonely because it is so hard for him to make friends. So taking a chance Tommy joins the Dance Decorations Committee to see if that would help him make some friends.  So when he finally makes some friends they are making a banner for the next school dance and  Greta a big girl from the school, rips the banner in half so Ben asks Tommy if he wants to go with him to get tape to fix it. So they are looking for the tape and they find an elevator that hasn’t been used for 50 years. So they get in and it doesn’t move for a minute then they finally start moving. Will this be the last ride of their lives? This book will send chills down your spine.
